Abstract
Electrodeposition on the graphite electrode under conditions of controlled current in a flow-through mode, followed by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry, is proposed for the determination of cadmium. After electrolysis in a microcell of 0.0026 ml volume, deposited metal was dissolved in 0.04 ml 0.2 M nitric acid and the whole volume was direct injected into the atomizer. The method was applied for the determination of cadmium in a real sample of seawater.

Elektrodepozice kovu na grafitové elektrodě v průtokovém uspořádání a ve spojení s atomovou absorpční spektrometrií s elektrotermickou atomizací je navržena pro stanovení kadmia. Po elektrolýze v mikrocele o objemu 0.0026 ml se kov rozpustí ve 0.04 ml 0,2 M kyseliny dusičné a celý objem je přímo dávkován do atomizátoru. Metoda byla aplikována na stanovení kadmia v mořské vodě.
