Abstract
Nonlinear second order difference equations with deviating argument is investigated. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions approaching zero are given. The role of the nonlinearity and the effect of the deviating argument are illustrated by several examples.

Jsou studovány nelineární diferenční rovnice 2. řádu s odkloněným argumentem. Jsou prezentovány nuntné a postačující podmínky pro existenci řešení konvergujícího k nule. Role nonlinearity a vliv odkloněného argumentu jsou ilustrovány na příkladech.
