Text reaguje především na některé stati v časopise Český jazyk a literatura a zabývá se otázkou, má-li dnešní spisovná čeština vyhovující podobu. V první části se o tématu píše z hlediska školy, ve druhé ve vztahů k názorům v jiných statích o současné spisovné češtině.

That article by H. Borovská a K. Klímová replies to the other articles in journal Český jazyk a literatura and it deals with the problem of contemporary "literary" Czech language. The two authors ask if the form of contemporary literary Czech is convenient. The first part of that article makes noises about that problem in term of school practice, last part of article discourses to the other articles on contemporary Czech language.
