Abstract
The aim of the experiment was to analyse the behavioural effects of citalopram, valproate and cannabidiol, and verify the hypothesis that CBD, similarly to citalopram and valproate, would reduce behavioural responses to social stress induced by repeated social conflict. The data suggest an antidepressant-like effect of CBD in mice defeated by an aggressive conspecific partner. These data are in agreement with human studies (Ashton et al., 2005; Crippa et al., 2004) and contribute to a number of reports on the multitude of diverse actions of cannabidiol that might be of medical use.
Abstract (in Czech)
Cílem práce bylo testování behaviorálních účinků kanabidiolu a jejich srovnání s účinky citalopramu a valproátu v modelů sociálního stresu u myší. Výsledky naznačují možné antidepresivní účinky kanabidiolu.
