DNA was adsorbed on particles in the presence of 8 wt. % of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG 6,000) and 2 M NaCl concentrations. The eluted DNA was used directly for PCR identification of Salmonella cells containing intracellular PCR inhibitors, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium cells in dairy products (cheese, fermented dairy products), Trichophyton cells in lyophilisates, bacterial cells in sediments from Lake Baikal, and GMO testing (DNA isolated from rose soya granulate).
