In this paper, we describe such a collaborative environment developed for Ithanet project, based on Grid authentication mechanisms. Significant effort has been put into developing a system, that is capable of deployment across tightly secured networking environments as implemented in vast majority of hospitals. The environment is extensible enough to incorporate Grid-service based collaborative systems like AccessGrid. ER -
