Abstract

In 2007, 25 selected revised papers of the PATAT conference were published by Springer in Lecture Notes of Computer Science 3867. The PATAT conferences, which are held every two years, bring together researchers and practitioners in all aspects of computer-aided timetable generation. This includes university timetabling, school timetabling, personnel rostering, transportation timetabling, sports scheduling and other areas of the subject. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Informatics. Hana Rudová (FI MU) was the general chair of the conference and Edmund Burke from the University of Nottingham (UK) was the programme co-chair of the conference (both of them are editors of the proceedings).

Abstract (in Czech)

V roce 2007 bylo publikováno 25 vybraných revidovaných článků konference PATAT nakladatelstvím Springer v Lecture Notes of Computer Science 3867. PATAT konference se koná každé dva roky a setkávají se na ní výzkumníci i lidé z praxe pracující na automatizovaném generování rozvrhů. Předmětem konference je tedy například universitní rozvrhování, školní rozvrhování, rozvrhování zaměstnanců, rovrhování sportů nebo rozvrhování v dopravě. Konference byla organizována Fakultou informatiky. Předsedou programového i organizačního výboru byla Hana Rudová z FI MU, spolupředsedou programového výboru byl Edmund Burke z University of Nottingham, UK (oba jsou zároveň editory sborníku konference).
