Abstract (in English)

The chapter deals with current organized crime in Colombia. The structure of the text is following - first it analyzes historical development of OC in Colombia, then it takes a look at the organization and scope of the organized crime in that Latin American country. Due to the specific character of the organized crime in Colombia the chapter also mentions the relation between the OC and the guerillas.
