Abstract
We measured electrochemical activity of yeast culture on mercury electrode. We observed the changes of differential capacity curves and also changes in impedance during the growth of yeast. We were able to monitor the growing number of cells in solution and also the formation of biofilm on mercury surface. After calibration we were able to determine the concentration of yeast in solution.

Elektrochemicky jsme měřili aktivitu kvasinkových kultur na rtuťové elektrodě. Sledovali jsme změny na kapacitních a impedančních křivkách v průběhu růstu kvasinek. Byli jsme schopni monitorovat vzrůstající počet kvasinek a také tvorbu biofilmu na povrchu elektrody. Po kalibraci jsme byli schopní určit počet kvasinek v roztoku.
