Abstract
The paper is focused on kernel estimates of densities and distribution functions. But there is a serious difficulty with such estimates- a choice of a smoothing parameter and at the present paper an iterativ method is proposed. Theoretical results are applied to hydrological data.
Abstract (in Czech)
PPříspěvek se týká jádrových odhadů hustoty a distrbuční funkce.Při těchto odhadech je vážným ptoblémm volba vyhlazovacího parametru.V příspěvku je navržena iterační metoda pro nalezení tohoto parametru.Teoretické výsledky jsou aplikovány na hydrologická gata.
