Abstract
Intermetallic phases, sigma phase and Laves phase, occurring in the systems of transition metals, were investigated in details with respect to the phase equilibria existing namely in the chromium containing systems. Models for description of thermodynamic properties if intermetallic phases in CALPHAD method for phase diagram calculations were presented.
