Abstract
First-episode schizophrenia is characterized by pronounced acute treatment response and normal mean values of testosterone. This may be changed with the onset of chronic ilness. Available data stress the importance of the critical period after the first psychotic episode.

První epizoda schizofrenie je charakterizována výraznou reakcí na akutní léčbu při zachování normální hodnoty testosteronu. Ke změně může dojít u chronické formy nemoci. Dostupná data ukazují kritická stresová období po první epizodě schizofrenie.
