Abstract
The aim of the study was nonparametric (differences in each hour, Mann-Whitney test) and parametric evaluation (the least-squares fit of the cosine curve with a period of 24 hours) of the 24-hour recordings of blood pressure (BP) in 45 patients after anticancer therapy with anthracyclines (age groups 13-15, 16-18, 19-22 years), and in 64 age-matched controls. The age-dependent increase of blood pressure seen in healthy controls between 13 and 22 years of age does not occur in patients after anthracycline therapy. This corresponded with a decreased BP in these patients in age between 19-22 years.
Abstract (in Czech)
Cílem studie bylo hodnocení 24 hodinového záznamu krevního tlaku (TK) u 45 pacientů po léčbě anthracykliny (věkové skupiny 13 až 15, 16 až 18, 19 až 22 let) a u 64 kontrol odpovídajícího věku pomocí neparametrického (rozdíly v každé hodině, Mann Whitney test) a parametrického testu (proložení 24 hod. periody funkcí cosinus metodou nejmenších čtverců). Vzestup TK přítomný u kontrol ve věku 13 až 22 let nebyl nalezen u pacientů po léčbě antracykliny. To odpovídá sníženému TK u těchto pacientů ve věku 19 až 22 let.
