Abstract

V originále

Strains of bacteria showed to be the same before and after the cleaning and treatin procedure, however the amount after the procedure was clearly lower. Newertheless this unexpected result we saw a clinical improvement of the wounds. We should keep in mind we are dealing with polymorbid patients. We present the results of several cases that showed an impressive improvement of their wounds. We will show results of severe lower limb wounds and of laparostoma wounds. The suitable treatment of biofilm infection consist of surgical resection or debridement of the focus of the local administration of antimicrobials in sufficient concentrations exceeding the minimal biofilm eradication concentration.
