L'analyse de l'hexalogie Chroniques du Plateau-Mont-Royal (1977-1997) de Michel Tremblay montre que sous le couvert d'une saga familiale se cache un programme littéraire, celui de l'émergence d'une culture nationale a partir de la culture populaire urbaine. La configuration de la famille entourant le futur écrivain indique les impasses a éviter et les voies a suivre.

Analýza šestidílného románového cyklu Michela Tremblaye Chroniques du Plateau-Mont-Royal (1977-1997) naznačuje v příběhu zrodu budoucího spisovatele možnost interpretovat rodinnou ságu jako svébytný kulturní program proměny městské lidové kultury ve vysokou kulturu národní. Konfigurace rodinného kruhu budoucího spisovatele naznačuje slepé cesty i možnosti rozvoje.

The analysis of Michel Tremblay's hexalogy Chroniques du Plateau-Mont-Royal (1977-1997) shows that the family saga and the story of the birth of the future writer may be interpreted as a cultural program of raising the urban working class culture to the level of a national literature. The configuration of the family indicates wrong and right ways of development.
