Cílem práce je zhodnocení výsledků chirurgické terapie u pacientek s klinickou diagnózou nejasných bolestí pravého hypogastria. Bylo zjištěno, že více jak 80 % oslovených pacientek popisuje svůj současný zdravotní stav jako zcela bez obtíží. Studií byl jasně prokázán pozitivní efekt elektivní apendektomie u nejasných bolestí v pravém hypogastriu.

The aim of this study is to assess results of surgical therapy in female patients with clinical diagnoses of unexplained pains in the right hypogastrium. Over 80% of the enquired female patients experienced no further symptoms. The study confirmed positive effects of elective appendectomies in unexplained pains in the right hypogastrium.
