Anotace

Manufacturing in the Vysocina region indicated a low level of productivity compared with the Czech Republic in 1999. The authors of the Development Programme in the Vysocina region from 2002 talked about a low level of enterprise activities and pointed to a low level of performance activities in attracting foreign investors. This contribution attempts to answear questions associated with the present position of manufacturing in this region. The authors try to identify the centre of industrial growth and contemplate the role of foreign investors.

Průmyslová výroba v kraji Vysočina vykazovala nízký stupeň produktivity ve srovnání s Českou republikou v roce 1999. Autoři Rozvojového programu kraje Vysočina z roku 2002 mluví o nízké úrovni podnikatelské aktivity a poukazují na nízký výkon aktivit v přitahování zahraničních investorů. Tento příspěvek se snaží odpovědět na otázku spojenou se současným postavením průmyslové výroby v tomto regionu. Autoři se pokouší identifikovat centra průmyslového růstu a zvažují jakou roli zde hrají zahraniční investoři.
