Článek se zabývá problematikou role zájmových skupin a jejich systémů v demokracii. Zvláště se pak zaměřuje na proces demokratizace a demokratické konsolidace jak v teorii, tak na konkrétním případě demokratizace a konsolidace demokracie ve středoevropském prostoru.

In English

The aim of the article is to offer a basic introduction to the role of interest group in democracy, with special focus on interest groups and interest intermediation systems, namely corporatism and pluralism, in the process of democratization and democratic consolidation.
