Abstract
FLAIRS conference held in Coconut Grove, U.S.A. hosted a special track on AI Planning and Scheduling for the first time. Planning has been a part of Artificial Intelligence since its beginning and sessions on planning are part of major AI conferences. Planning is also close to scheduling so having presentations on both topics in a single conference track promotes information exchange between close but slightly different communities.
