Abstract

Příspěvek poukazuje na problém tvorby tematického atlasu jako propojení kartografického díla a učebního textu s cílem vytvoření didaktické pomůcky pro výuku regionu. Představuje návrh koncepce atlasu, konstrukční základy tematické mapy a její kompozice, přehled témat a map použitých v atlase. Některé mapy jsou zcela původní a dosud nebyly publikovány. Výsledkem práce je kartografické dílo, které skloubilo požadavky kartografie, geografie, didaktiky a geoinformatiky. Koncepce, metodika práce a vlastní výsledek - Tematicky atlas USA a Kanady - dokumentují jejich úspěšné řešení v rámci zpracování diplomové práce.

Abstract (in English)

Paper deals with the problems of creation and formation of thematic atlas as a interconnection of cartographic publication and learning text aiming to create didactic instrument for teaching and learning geography. Paper presents project of atlas, composition of thematic map, construction of map fundaments and overview of thematic maps. Some maps are original (by their themes) and never be published till yet. The result presents cartographic publication jointing requirements of cartography, geography, didactics and geoinformatic. Conception and methodology of „Thematic Atlas of USA and Canada“ documents successful result in the framework of diploma work.
