Abstract
Immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical methods demonstrate the expression of nestin, the intermediate filament protein class VI, in osteosarcomas. Osteosarcoma cell lines showing nestin+/CD133+ phenotype, which is considered to be a marker of cancer stem cells.
