Abstract |
---|
FerA protein belongs flavin reductases (PF01613). The enzyme reduces ferricparabactin. The ferA knock-out mutant strain has significantly decresed growth abilities and diminished production of catechol siderophores. Partial restoration of properties for the wild strain was observed after complementation of the disrupted ferA gene or in the presence of 1 mM chorismic acid in growth medium. |

FerA patří do rodiny flavinreduktas (PF01613). Enzym redukuje ferriparabaktin. Kmen mutantní ve ferA má výrazně snížené růstové schopnosti a neprodukuje katecholové siderofory. Částečné obnovení vlastností divokého kmene bylo obdrženo po komplementaci přerušeného ferA genu nebo v přítomnosti 1 mM kyseliny chorismové v růstovém mediu. |
