Abstract
Bryozoans occurs in generally three major types of deposit: sand/sandstone, marl and limestone. There exist characteristics occurrence of distinct species of Bryozoa in relation to type of deposit.

Mechovky se vyskytují obecně ve 3 typech neogenních sedimentů: písky/pískovce, slínovce a vápence. Výskyt určitých druhů mechovek je vázán na určitý typ horninového substrátu.
