Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate the hypothesis of permanent fauna dominance in hard-water limestone springs in contrast to acidic soft-water ones. Altogether eight taxa and 3,904 individuals of oligochaetes were recorded in the calcareous fen; 22 taxa with 2,144 individuals of oligochaetes and leeches were recorded in the Sphagnum-fen. The main changes in the structure and composition of clitellate assemblages were associated with the season in both sites. Moreover, in the calcareous fen this gradient was also significantly correlated with the discharge and number of individuals in the samples. Besides the influence of season, the structure of assemblages in the Sphagnum-fen were influenced by the distance from the spring source, water pH, content of FPOM, and percentage of stones in the bottom substrate.

Cílem studie bylo testování hypotézy o dominanci permanentní fauny v pěnovcových prameništích v porovnání s kyselými prameništi s kalcitolerantními rašeliníky. V pěnovcovém prameništi bylo nalezeno 3904 jedinců 8 taxonů a v prameništi s kalcitolerantními rašeliníky 2144 jedinců 22 toxonů. Hlavní změny skladby společenstva byly spojeny se sezonou na obou studovaných lokalitách. Navíc v pěnovcovém prameništi byl tento gradient významně korelován s průtokem a počtem jedinců, zatímco v prameništi s kalcitolerantními rašeliníky byl významný ještě druhý nezávislý gradient a to vzdálenost o pramene, pH, FPOM a procento zastoupení kamenů v substrátu.
