Abstract

Este artículo se centra en el estatuto problemático y el inventario de los prefijos cuantificadores en espańol. A pesar de que la mayoría de los lingüistas consideran dichos formantes grecolatinos como morfemas derivativos, algunos autores los clasifican (utilizando criterios semánticos relativamente subjetivos) como elementos compositivos. Otro problema concierne a la información insuficiente o imprecisa sobre este tipo de prefijos en diferentes gramáticas y tratados sobre la formación de palabras (inventario incompleto de los prefijos cuantificadores, errores u omisiones en las indicaciones sobre los valores semánticos de algunos de estos prefijos, p.ej. del morfema mega-).

Tento článek se zaměřuje na problematický status a inventář kvantifikačních prefixů ve španělštině.Přestože většina jazykovědců pokládá tyto řecko-latinské elementy za derivační morfémy, někteří autoři je klasifikují (často na základě subjektivních sémantických kriterií) jako komponenty složených slov. Další problém se týká nepřesných údajů o tomto typu prefixů v různých gramatikách a pojednáních o slovotvorbě (často neúplný inventář kvantitativních prefixů, chyby či nedostatky v uváděných významech některých předpon, např. u morfému mega-).

Abstract (in English)

This paper focuses on the problematic status and inventory of numerical prefixes in Spanish. Even though the majority of linguists consider these Latin and Greek elements as derivational morphemes, some authors see them (using relatively subjective semantic criteria) as constituents of compound words. The second problem concerns the inaccurate information on this type of prefixes in different grammars and studies on word formation (i.e., often incomplete inventory of numerical prefixes; errors or omissions in semantic values of some elements, e.g. mega-).
