Abstract

Publikace shrnuje příspěvky mezinárodní konference konané ve dnech 20.-22. listopadu 2007 v prostorách Arcidiecézního muzea Olomouc. Setkání organizovalo Muzeum umění Olomouc ve spolupráci s Ústavem dějin umění AV ČR, v.v.i. a Národním památkovým ústavem, ú.o.p. v Olomouci. Vědecká konference si kladla za cíl rekapitulovat nejrůznější aspekty provázející vznik Arcidiecézního muzea Olomouc a zejména přitom zohlednit výjimečné místo tzv. Olomouckého hradu, v jehož obvodu se nalézá. Programem a cílem jednotlivých referujících bylo nejen se zamýšlet nad širokým spektrem otázek architektonických, památkových, restaurátorských a muzeologických, ale po dlouhé době opět zaměřit pozornost na širší téma areálu tzv. Olomouckého hradu. Tato problematika byla sledována v řadě souvislostí-archeologických, stavebně-historických, uměleckohistorických i obecně historických.

Abstract (in English)

The publication summarises the contributions from an international conference which took place from the 20th-22nd of November 2007 on the grounds of the Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum. The event was organised by the Olomouc Museum of Art in co-operation with the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and the Regional Specialised Workplace in Olomouc of the National Monument Institute. This specialised conference was focused on recapitulating various aspects concerned with the emergence of the Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum and at the same time examines, in particular, the remarkable locale of the so-called Olomouc Castle where the Museum is located. The programme of this symposium and the goals of the particular talks were to not only consider a wide spectrum of questions related to architecture, monument care, restoration and museum-related questions but also to focus once again, after a long hiatus, on the wider theme of the grounds of the so-called Olomouc Castle. This subject was examined from a range of angles, these being archaeological, construction history, art history and general history.
