Abstract

In English

The reference book has been developed within the framework of the Compact Project by the Masaryk University Language Centre team. It sets out in three parts an overview of the individual language levels for professional and academic language, which have been elaborated on the basis of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In the first part, a reference is made to the cohesion of the individual language levels B1 through C1. The second part deals with a description of the individual competences and in the third part, individual competences are described in detail (reading comprehension, writing, listening, speaking and language skills) with focus on professional and academic language.
