Abstract
Plasma levels of agouti-related peptide (AgRP) were reported to continuously rise during ongoing pregnancy in rats. The aim of the study was to investigate the maternal pre-partum peripheral plasma levels of AgRP and levels in umbilical cord blood in pre-eclamptic and physiological pregnancies in humans.

Plazmatické hladiny agouti-related peptidu (AgRP) u krys během těhotenství kontinuálně stoupají. Cílem této studie bylo prozkoumat maternální hladiny AgRP v periferní krvi a peripartálně i v pupečníkové krvi dětí a srovnat tyto hodnoty mezi skupinou matek s pre-eklampsií a fyziologickou graviditou.
