Abstract
In the past twenty years, tourism in the Czech Republic has undergone a fundamental transformation, which changed its functional-spatial arrangement. This paper seeks to do a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of this period. The authors focus on those processes that most affected the overall functional-spatial structure of tourism in the Czech Republic. They analyzed both changes on the supply side (especially the development of accommodation infrastructure and its impact on the transformation of functional utilization of settlements and landscapes) and the development of domestic and foreign demand.
