Anotace
The paper states what coping strategies Czech intellectually gifted adolescents use to cope with stress in school. Theoretical framework represent to terms as academic stress specially types of reaction on stress in school, stressors and coping strategies, intellectual giftedness, adolescence. This paper focuses on research of academic stress factors and the coping strategies that intellectually gifted adolescents use. Paper brings important information about coping strategies by intellectually gifted adolescents in context of school based on the application of SVF 78 Questionnaire. Questionnaire SVF 78 is originally determined for adults and relates to situation, where person is upset, discountenanced or disadvantaged by something or somebody. In depth interviews with intellectually gifted adolescents, their teachers and parents are fundamental points in the research as well as long-term observation. Results of this research can help teachers in their interaction. To the main aim is to facilitate the optimal development of giftedness in adolescents.
