V originále

La spécifité du genre policier est toujours donnée par une thématisation du crime et de son dévoilement, mais la conception du crime est modifiée de facon a ce que le tout corresponde a une réception spécifique de la part des enfants. Le roman policier pour enfants se limite souvent a une moralité dramatisée dans laquelle (comme dans un conte de fées) le bien s oppose au mal. Le polar pour enfants présente ainsi un caractere presque didactique qu implique incontournablement la prétention a expliquer la faute commise (ce qui va suivre, quelle correction sera infligée a juste titre au malfaiteur etc.). Il arrive meme que l explication du délit fasse de l ombre sur le processus investigatif et que la finesse de l enquéteur enfantin joue un role secondaire face au hazard et a l avantage qu offre le bas age du détective.

Stěžejním tematickým motivem dětské detektivky stále zůstává zločin a pátrání po něm, ovšem povaha zločinu je modifikována, jeho pojetí odpovídá specifičnostem dětského vnímání. Dětská detektivka se často stává zdramatizovanou moralitou, v níž (obdobně jako v pohádce) stojí dobro proti zlu. Dětská detektivka tedy mívá mnohdy téměř didaktický charakter, který nutně vyplývá z požadavku zdůvodnit prohřešek (proč se zločin stal, co bude následovat, jaký trest po zásluze stihne zločince atd.). Odůvodnění prohřešku často zastiňuje i samotný proces pátrání, v němž sice důležitou roli hraje důvtip dětského pátrače, ale také náhoda či přímo výhoda plynoucí z dětského věku detektiva.

The principal thematic motif of the childrens detective story is a crime and its investigation but the crime is modified, the approach to it corresponds with particularities of childrens perception. The child detective story often becomes a dramatized morality where, as in a fairy story, the good fights the bad. The child detective story has then almost a didactic nature, which necessarily results from the requirement to explain the wrong (why the crime happened, what will follow, what punishment the criminal will be given, etc.). The reasoning often overshadows the process of investigation where an important role is played by the wit of the child investigator but also by a chance or even by the age as an advantage of the child detective.
