Jaroslav Grunt patřil k významným funkcionalistickým architektům, jehož působení je do velké míry spjato se stavebním úřadem brněnského magistrátu. Jako urbanista v městském regulačním oddělení ovlivňoval až do 50. let 20. století podobu města Brna.

Jaroslav Grunt was czech functionalist architekt, who worked as an employee of building office of Brno Municipality. As a urban planner he influenced till fifties the image of City of Brno.
