Abstract
We considered random lag time before the homogeneous phase of the dissolution begins. The resulting dissolution profiles are characterized by sigmoidal shape commonly observed in empirical dissolution data. Furthermore, probability distribution of repeated measurements at fixed time is deduced from the model and function describing variability of the data in dependency on time is proposed.
