Příspěvek představuje čtvrtou fázi výzkumu Kvalitní škola zaměřeného na kurikulární reformu na gymnáziích. V rovině teoretických východisek výzkum stavěl na konceptových analýzách realizovaného kurikula z oborového a didaktického hlediska. Výzkumné otázky se vztahovaly k tomu, jak se vybrané ideje kurikulární reformy (např. klíčové kompetence) odrážejí v reálné výuce. Cílem videostudií bylo postihnout kvalitu příležitostí k rozvíjení kompetencí ve výuce a prozkoumat možnosti operacionalizace tohoto konstruktu na úrovni konkrétní výuky ve vybraných oborech gymnaziálního vzdělávání. Ještě více než v předchozích fázích umožnily videostudie uchopit zkoumané aspekty z oborově didaktického hlediska.

The chapter introduces the fourth part of the "Quality school" research which focuses on the curricular reform at grammar schools. On the theoretical level the research built on concept analyses of realized curriculum from the subject and didactics point of view. The research questions were concerned with how selected ideas of the curricular reform (such as key competences) are reflected in real instruction. The aim was to investigate the quality of opportunities for developing the key competences and explore the possibilities of operationalizing this construct on the level of concrete teaching/learning situations in selected subjects of grammar school education. More than in the previous phases, the videostudies allowed for looking at the aspects in focus from a subject-didactical point of view.
