Abstract

Kapitola představuje problematiku školní a sociální inkluze osob se zrakovým postižením. Text se zabývá popisem základních zrakových vad včetně jejich kompenzace a faktory ovlivňujícími úspěch inkluze. V závěru dochází k popisu současného stavu inkluze v České republice, možností vzdělávání zrakově postižených a trendu, který je v této oblasti v USA. Popsaný výzkum se zabývá souvislostmi mezi zrakovou vadou a školní inkluzí.

Abstract (in English)

The chapter presents an issue of school and social inclusion of people with visual impairment. The chapter deals with the basic description of visual defects, including their compensation and the factors infl uencing the success of inclusion. It describes the present state of this phenomena in the Czech Republic, including educational opportunities of visually impaired people and contemporary trends in the USA. The research is concerned with connections between visual impairment and school inclusion.
