Abstract
Guidelines of Czech Society of Cardiology are released in accordance with ESC guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic heart failure. Guidelines summarise and evaluate all currently available knowledge about a particular issue, and whenever it is possible they are based on EBM-Evidence Based Medicine. Two classifications of level of evidence and the strength of recommendation are used as seen below.
