Abstract
Monocular visual field is formed by objects which are seen monocularly with static central fixation. Normal range of monocular visual field is 60 degrees up and nasal direction, 70 degrees down and 90 degrees in temporal direction. There are two basic types of perimetry – kinetic and static, also called as automated. In the group of kinetic or dynamic perimeters we can place Manual, Forster, Maggiore and Goldman perimeter. Today clinicians usually use automated perimeters. There are many modifications of basic white on white (W-W) perimeters. Short wave automated perimetry (SWAP) could prove early changes in glaucoma.

Monokulární zorné pole je formováno všemi body kolem centrálního bodu fixace. Normální rozsah monokulárního zorného pole je 60 stupňů nahoru a nasálně, 70 stupňů dolů a 90 stupňů temporálně. Existují dva základní typy perimetrie – kinetická a statická, zvaná také jako automatická. Do skupiny kinetických perimetrů můžeme řadit ruční perimetr, Försterův perimetr, Maggioerův a Goldmannův perimetr. Dnes jsou však více využívány automatické perimetry. Existuje mnoho modifikací základní technologie white-on-white. Například krátkovlnnou perimetrii (SWAP) můžeme použít ke zjištění včasných změn u glaukomu.
