The MCP-1/CCL2 as well as RANTES/CCL5 chemokines are potent chemoattractant involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes inclusive rheumatoid arthritis. In our study we found a significant increase in the prevalence of the heterozygous variant of the -855C/G MCP-1 polymorphism compared to homozygous variants in the IgM RF-positive subgroup of RA patients. Furthermore, an association of RANTES -403 G/A promoter polymorphism to circulating levels of IL15 and IL10 was found.

Chemokiny MCP-1/CCL2 a RANTES/CCL5 jsou chemoatraktanty zapojené do imunoregulačních a zánětlivých procesů mimo jiné u revmatoidní artritidy. V naší studii jsme prokázali zvýšený výskyt heterozygotní varianty -855C/G MCP-1 ve srovnání s homozygotními variantami u IgM RF-pozitivní podskupiny pacientů s revmatoidní artritidou. Dále jsme prokázali asociaci polymorfismu -403 G/A u RANTES s hladinami IL15 a IL10 v cirkulaci.
