Abstract
This thesis proposal focuses on the issue of parsing of morphologically rich languages. After the first introductory chapter, a detailed overview of the state of the art in this domain is given, summarizing author's view of the present challenges and describing approaches to tackle them. Appropriateness of statistical and rule-based methods and parsing evaluation issues are discussed in particular. The next chapter outlines the aims of this thesis and finally author's already achieved results and publications are provided in the last chapter.
