The diploma thesis will focus on a managerial problem in the field of project management in a specific organization. The aim of the thesis will be to analyze selected aspects of project management in a specific company, to identify its shortcomings and to propose solutions to eliminate them. Design and methods used: The diploma thesis will have two parts. The theoretical part will be a critical review of the current state of knowledge in the field of project management. The practical part of the work will be a case study. It will include a description and analysis of the project management system in the case company. Based on the results of the analysis, appropriate recommendations will be formulated towards the development of project management in the company. Part of the work will be the study of recommended and other relevant literature, the case study will also include an assessment of the (non-)economic aspects of the implementation of the proposed solutions.
