Hlavním tématem práce je verifikace dosud zjištěných funkčních zón, které byly identifikovány v jeskyni Kůlně, prostřednictvím trasologické analýzy kamenných nástrojů z jednotlivých zón. Analýza pracovních stop může ukázat, jaké materiály se s jednotlivými artefakty opracovávaly, případně jaké byly způsoby jejich použití. Na podkladě těchto výsledků pak můžeme definovat aktivity v jednotlivých funkčních zónách a porovnat je s jejich dosud publikovanou interpretací, která byla založena jen na skladbě jednotlivých techno-typologických skupin kamenné štípané industrie a tvrdých živočišných tkání.
 
The main topic of the work is the verification of the functional zones, previously identified in the Kůlně cave, through the trasological analysis of stone tools from individual zones. The use-wear analysis can show what materials were processed with individual artifacts, or what were the methods of their use. Based on these results, we can then define the activities in individual functional zones and compare them with their previously published interpretation, which was based only on the composition of individual techno-typological groups of the stone chipped industry and hard animal tissues.
