The purpose of this thesis is to define, estimate and evaluate major factors that affected the BRIC economies during 2008 global financial crisis. At first, an analysis of literature on the subject and corresponding statistic data will be carried out in order to single out main factors that determined the course of the crisis in the BRIC economies. Then regression model will be developed to evaluate the impact of these indicators. After formulating the model, it will be possible to compare obtained results and evidence from the literature and in accordance with that make conclusions.
