This thesis focuses on analyzing, designing, and implementing a visual integration platform using Apache Camel Karavan within a Spring Boot environment, aimed at modernizing middleware practices for companies like onsemi. The platform will enable business users to create, configure, and monitor system integrations through an intuitive graphical interface, reducing reliance on administrators and improving scalability and adaptability. Key tasks include analyzing current middleware limitations, integrating Karavan with Spring Boot, implementing reusable Kamelets for complex tasks such as data transformation and API orchestration, and ensuring compatibility with cloud-native services and microservices. The solution will be tested for efficiency, resilience, and user-friendliness to streamline integration processes, reduce deployment times, and enhance collaboration between technical and non-technical teams. The outcome will be a functional platform that aligns with modern trends in middleware, emphasizing accessibility, agility, and efficiency in system integration.
