The goal of the bachelor’s thesis is to design, implement, and pilot-deploy a modular web-based platform for interactive educational activities, building on an existing application demonstrating Fitts’ Law, which will be refactored into an independent module with a clearly defined interface to support future extensions.
The system shall include an administrative interface for managing student cohorts (including time-restricted access to activities), student access without formal registration via a shared cohort password and a self-defined login, mechanisms for collecting and storing performance and telemetry data, leaderboards where appropriate, and structured data export (e.g., CSV). The thesis will cover the analysis and specification of functional and non-functional requirements, the design of the system and database architecture, the implementation of the solution, and the preparation of technical documentation. The student will also deploy the system (e.g., on the faculty cluster Stratus.FI or an equivalent service) to demonstrate its operational readiness.
The created code will be publicly available in the IS under the MIT license.
