All in all, the thesis endeavours to answer three main questions utilising the literature on agenda-setting and framing theory. The following sections provide a more in-depth analysis of the theoretical framework. Ultimately, the thesis gives insight into how Azerbaijan and IRI framed one another in state-controlled media, as well as how the SKW influenced their decision-making regarding their views. This approach can also be applied to different countries and their independent or state-supervised media outlets. In order to achieve that goal, the thesis is structured as follows. The introduction to this work is followed by a brief historical overview of the 44-day War and Iran's political steps. This will provide readers with an understanding of why Iran was selected for this case, as well as the reasons for the changing media frames (chapter 2). As a next step, I will examine the existing literature about media situations and roles in both countries (chapter 3) and the role media has played in the conflict. I then elaborate on the theoretical framework, where I outline the role of agenda-setting and framing in academic literature and formulate the research questions (chapter 4). The next chapter describes the methodology choice and research design (chapter 5), followed by the results and analysis of the collected data (chapter 6). To sum up, the next two chapters will include the discussion and conclusion of the main findings (chapter 7).
