Abstract

This research seeks to understand how the lack of a project management methodology impacts the projects of a company implementing Oracle NetSuite operating in Latin America. This is done through a qualitative case study, and interviews with the company's project team were held. Additionally, the results show that the lack of methodology generates disorder, reactive management, ambiguity in the definition of roles, work overload, communication, schedule delays, and budgets. This research proposes strategic recommendations and an implementation plan based on international methodologies such as PRINCE2 and PMBOK. Finally, it is concluded that with the implementation of these improvements, not only will the projects be executed efficiently, but also customer satisfac- tion and team morale will be improved, thus achieving more successful implementations in time and cost. …víceméně
