Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo najít, popsat a srovnat strategie, které používají novozákonní spisy - tedy synoptická evangelia, čtvrté evangelium, s přihlédnutím na Skutky apoštolů a také s přihlédnutím na dílo Josepha Flavia Židovské starožitnosti, také jako zdroj z prvního století n. l., jak podřizují Jana Křtitele Ježíši Kristu. Abstract

The aim of this bachelor work was to find, describe and compare strategies used in New Testament writings - the Synoptic Gospels, the Fourth Gospel, and also taking into account the Acts and the Jewish Antiquities written by Josephus Flavius, also as a source from the first century AD, how they subordinate John the Baptist to Jesus Christ. Zadání práce

Práce se zaměří na proměny vztahu mezi Ježíšem a Janem Křtitelem v novozákonních evangeliích a Skutcích apoštolských. S přihlédnutím k dalším dobovým pramenům vyjde z historických rekonstrukcí Janova života a profilu křtitelského hnutí, jež svou popularitou zřejmě konkurovalo křesťanským skupinám soustředěným na postavu Ježíše. Novozákonní texty v tomto světle zřetelně vykazují snahu potlačit význam Jana Křtitele a podřídit ho Ježíšově autoritě. Práce se soustředí na komparativní analýzu novozákonních motivů, ve kterých se tato tendence vůči Janově postavě projevuje, a pokusí se typologizovat rozdílné legitimizační strategie, jež se v novozákonním kontextu v souvislosti s Janem Křtitelem uplatňují.

Příslušné prameny budou analyzovány na základě kritických překladů, podle možností s přihlédnutím k originálnímu znění.
