Abstract

Práce se zabývá sbírkou cínu Uměleckoprůmyslového musea v Praze. Část je věnována obecným charakteristikám cínu, způsobem a místy jeho zisku. Popisuje historii cínařské tvorby, způsoby výroby cínových předmětů a techniky jeho dekorace. Dále se práce zabývá poškozením předmětů, preventivní konzervací a jednotlivými klimatickými faktory, které ovlivňují sbírkové předměty z cínu. Některé náležitosti spojené s presentací jsou popsány v poslední části práce.

Abstract

Document describes the pewter collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, which offers an overview of the stylistic development of european and bohemian pewter from the 14th to the beginning of the 20th century. It contains the description of characteristics of pewter, overview of the history of pewter, ways of making and techniques of decorating pewter objects. One part is also about conservation and restoration of historical objects, which are produced of this material.
