The goal of this thesis is to design, evaluate, and implement a reusable search component for large-scale structured datasets, based on the identified user needs of several core facilities at CEITEC MU. The work will involve proposing and evaluating a solution through Scenario-Based Usability Testing with end users. This evaluation examines how users interact with the system under realistic conditions, assesses the component's usability performance, and identifies areas for improvement in future iterations of the package.

The primary use case targets systems with a large number of searchable metadata attributes, such as research data platforms where metadata ontologies may contain tens or hundreds of descriptive fields. The main outcome will be an npm package capable of automatically generating filtering interfaces and tokenized search functionality from an OpenAPI or similar specification, optimized for efficient and user-friendly search across large data structures.
