Abstract

Práce se zabývá plánováním kapacit pro vysoko rychlostní železnici, tedy sestavením vyhovujícího rozložení vlakových jednotek mezi navržené spoje, při snaze minimalizovat náklady na jejich nákup a provoz. This thesis deals with capacity planning for high-speed trains, i. e., constructing a suitable distribution of railway trainsets on the designed infrastructure and connections while minimizing the cost of their acquisition and operation. Thesis description
The master thesis will deal with the capacity planning of high-speed trains in the context of long-term planned changes in the railway transport infrastructure. The aim of the thesis is to design suitable capacities and distribution of railway trainsets for the specified transport infrastructure and specified train connections. The thesis is aimed at the exploration of metaheuristic approaches and their appropriateness to solving this problem.

The work is designed in cooperation with the Institute for Transport Economics, Geography and Policy (Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University) and Czech Railways to use the information on real transport infrastructure and expected connections, as well as data on demand for rail transport based on big data from SIM cards from T-Mobile on the movement of people on the corresponding transport routes. The experimental part of the work will evaluate the quality of the implementation based on this real data and suitably generated random data to allow analysis and evaluation of the proposed metaheuristic techniques.
